Low Country, SC & Outer Banks, NC
I grew up about an hour and a half from Charleston, SC., consquently I spent countless weeks there throughout my life. As a little girl, I fell under the spell of the dark history, the aging architecture, the vast Atlantic sloping East, the marshlands, the decay, the crabs and culture. All of it-the Low Country captivates me.
This collection of photos was gathered from family vacations, a wedding, and general ramblings over the last few years in coastal communities of the Outer Banks of North Carolina and the Low Country of South Carolina. Just seeing these few pictures from those trips creates a longing in me for marsh birds and salt air.
